The Gallium Knight
The Gallium Knight
Once, there lived a beguiling knight
In a gallium suit, parading 'round.
While never seen in a valiant fight,
An utter dream, the maidens found.
Gallium Knight, charming and keen,
Your riding horse as white as snow.
No finer a face was ever seen—
But, good sir, what lies below?
A maiden the Gallium Knight did choose,
Lovely a damsel, flushed and free.
With nothing to love, there's nothing to lose,
And, he loved her not, you see.
Gallium Knight, charming and keen,
Your riding horse as white as snow.
No finer a face was ever seen—
But, good sir, what lies below?
"It wouldn't phase me if she died,"
The Knight did say to his dearest friend,
A kindly sailor who simply replied:
"Follow your heart until the end."
Gallium Knight, charming and keen,
Your riding horse as white as snow.
No finer a face was ever seen—
But, good sir, what lies below?
The Sailor returned at dusky dawn
To his beloved, night and day.
But, he found, his bride was gone,
For with the knight she'd run away.
Gallium Knight, charming and keen,
Your riding horse as white as snow.
No finer a face was ever seen—
But nothing, nothing lies below.
